Place Services Inc. Welcomes New Client: buybuy Baby

Our Retail Construction Department recently won a series of awards for our newest client, buybuy BABY, who is part of the Bed Bath & Beyond corporation. These tenant buildout projects are a 12-to-15-week duration and include transforming unoccupied commercial space into a new retail facility for this client. We recently completed a project in Southfield, MI which included the total demo of the exterior elevation and a full interior removal. The scope also included updates to lighting and electrical, HVAC equipment, air distribution, plumbing, fire sprinkler system and walls/flooring/ceilings. The buildout consisted of masonry walls, brick veneer, EIFS, structural steel with metal deck, membrane roof modification, multiple RTU’s, new storefront, polished concrete/LVT/ VCT flooring, all associated MEP’s, BMS system, fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and all necessary finishes. We installed a CPI Power wall for electrical service/EMS/LED lighting for energy savings. This project renovated an outdated structure and revitalized it into a modern retail store for buybuy BABY to service and supply items to families.
