In preparation for 2023’s growth projections, the General Contracting Leadership Team has created an Assistant Project Manager training program to support our associates progressing towards their career goals. The Leadership Team has built out a 12-module training program for the Assistant Project Managers. These modules are a combination of site visits focusing on several types of construction and classroom training to gain experience in plan reading, scheduling, and project financials. The first activity was a visit to a ground-up construction site in Conyers, GA. Rick Teal, our Director of Safety and Business Development, taught the training session. Rick used this visit to pass on some of his wisdom from his 40 years of experience in the Commercial Construction Industry. Our Assistant Project Managers got a great opportunity to gain hands on experience on an active job site. We are excited to support our employees’ in their career development goals.
