Polk County Fire Station #8
The Architecture & Engineering Department of the General Contracting Division of Place Services, Inc.
won the design services contract for the Polk County Fire Station #8 in Cedartown, GA.
With the leadership of our Director of Architecture @Matthew Cash and the expertise of his team, PSI is designing spaces that decrease fire department response times and foster safer communities.
The new station will replace a fifty-year-old fire station in Esom Hill. Until recently, Polk County has been an entirely all-volunteer fire department. Station #8 will include three apparatus bays, offices, restrooms, showers, bunks, a fitness room, and a luxurious day room. The design will also include a clean room, PPE storage, and a residential laundry room.
